We are seeking a Senior VP - Director to join a dynamic and forward-thinking investment team in Sydney. This is an initial contract role with the view to convert to permanent position, offering the chance to play a pivotal role in accelerating investment in renewable energy projects aligned with Australia's net-zero targets.

In this role, you will play a key part in driving Australia's clean energy transition by evaluating and preparing detailed analyses of investment opportunities. You will conduct comprehensive market and financial assessments to identify high-potential projects, lead due diligence processes covering financial, technical, and regulatory aspects, and structure and negotiate investment deals. In addition, you will prepare investment proposals and provide strategic insights to support decision-making at the senior level.

This is a unique opportunity to work on high-value renewable energy projects, including electricity storage, firming infrastructure, and other innovative clean energy technologies, while collaborating closely with industry leaders, investors, and project developers. The role offers exposure to cutting-edge projects and the chance to be part of a team at the forefront of Australia's net-zero goals.

We are seeking candidates with 8–12 years of experience in M&A or project finance, ideally from a leading investment bank or infrastructure fund, with strong project finance and debt expertise. Candidates should have seen the full end-to-end deal process in a banking or infrastructure context, possess excellent analytical and financial modelling skills, and demonstrate strong commercial acumen. A passion for infrastructure and a desire to build a career on the buy-side of the sector are essential. Successful candidates will also need to be adaptable, results-driven, and able to communicate complex information clearly and persuasively.
