OzLED Group is an Australian leader in emergency and fleet lighting solutions, supplying to government, defence, mining, and commercial fleets nationwide. Backed by a full in-house technical and manufacturing team, we design and deliver custom lighting, wiring, and control systems built for reliability and compliance.

We're looking for a confident, self-driven Business Development Manager who understands the language of the workshop and the needs of fleet professionals. If you thrive on autonomy and want a role where performance speaks louder than micromanagement, keep reading.


About the Role

You'll take the lead on developing new business and expanding existing relationships across emergency services, fleet maintenance, and industrial electrical sectors.

  • Manage and grow commercial accounts through proactive engagement and consistent follow-up.
  • Work with internal teams to align quoting, delivery, and after-sales support with client expectations.
  • Identify and pursue opportunities to introduce new and custom lighting solutions.
  • Build a structured call cycle and maintain detailed visibility over your sales pipeline.
  • Represent OzLED Group across all three entities, OzLED, Superior Terminals, and Continuity Harness & Loom, ensuring our clients receive full-service support.
  • Travel interstate once a month for client visits and projects.

This is a hybrid role with flexibility to manage your own schedule and outcomes.


About You

You're not just a salesperson, you're technically minded, comfortable in front of both fleet managers and technicians, and able to turn complex technical discussions into confident solutions.

  • 2–3 years in a similar business development or technical sales role.
  • Auto-electrical or related trade/programming background preferred.
  • Exposure to emergency service or government fleet maintenance environments.
  • Strong initiative and the ability to work autonomously with accountability.
  • Willingness to travel regularly (mostly interstate).

A valid driver's licence is essential.

  • Base salary $95,000 –$100,000 + vehicle + bonus + super
