AutoCorrect Pty Ltd is a family-owned Mechanical Workshop and Garage based in Alice Springs, Central Australia. For over 10 years, we have played a major role in servicing vehicles for the Alice Springs and District communities.

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Mechanic / Automotive Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of mechanical experience and be able to carry out the following duties and responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out precision mechanical work across a wide range of vehicles and equipment.
  • Perform routine servicing, maintenance, and repairs on light vehicles, heavy vehicles, and mobile plant in line with industry standards.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot faults effectively.
  • Work on gear reduction units, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, and power transmission components.
  • Train, mentor, and support apprentices and junior staff.

Your Qualifications

  • Hold an AQF Certificate III with at least 2 years on-the-job training, or AQF Certificate IV.
  • Minimum of 2 years' demonstrated experience as a qualified Mechanic / Automotive Technician.
  • Hold a valid, open Australian Driver's Licence.
