The Company 

Daisy's Garden Supplies is a respected Victorian family-owned business. We have been supplying high quality building, garden & landscaping supplies to Melbourne, Geelong and beyond for nearly 45 years. Our company's values are centered around the principles of integrity, hard work, and customer satisfaction. The Daisy's team includes over 200 people, working across 9 stores and 6 production sites, from Pakenham to Torquay. We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Store Allrounder to join our Taylors Lakes store team on a casual basis.

The role

As a Store Allrounder your key responsibilities will be:

  • Provide welcoming customer service (in store & via phone)
  • Operate our computerised point of sale system to process orders & payments
  • Load and unload vehicles using a forklift and front-end loader
  • Maintain store and sales yard presentation & cleanliness
  • Undertake stock control
  • If you have a MR/HR license, deliver customer orders around the North-Western suburbs
Skills & experience

The successful applicant will be someone who:

  • Has or is willing to complete training to obtain a forklift licence and front-end loader competency
  • Is confident using computers and learning new systems
  • Can form friendly and positive customer relationships
  • Has reasonable physical fitness to handle regular manual handling tasks
  • Advantageous – MR/HR license & experience with tipper trucks
