In this role, you'll:
Play a pivotal role in shaping how our assets are planned, managed, and assured—across bus, ferry, light rail, and maritime services.
- Champion the adoption and implementation of the Asset Management Framework across the Division.
- Lead the development of comprehensive asset lifecycle plans that align with operational and strategic goals.
- Provide technical assurance and governance across a diverse and complex asset base.
- Ensure compliance with legislation, standards, and safety management systems.
- Drive continuous improvement through auditing, risk management, and systems-based approaches.
- This is a hands-on leadership role—ideal for someone who thrives in both strategic orchestration and operational execution.

Role is based in George St Sydney. It is a hybrid role with office and at home mix according to TfNSW policy.This is a statewide role which will require travel.

About you
You're a seasoned leader with deep expertise in asset management —ideally in a multi-asset or infrastructure-heavy environment. You bring:
- A holistic view of asset lifecycle planning and technical assurance.
- Strong technical knowledge across risk, legislation, safety, and standards.
- Experience navigating complex stakeholder environments and delivering outcomes for end users.
- A proactive, hands-on approach to leadership with the ability to influence and drive change.
