About the Role
We're looking for experienced Veterinarians who want to deliver pet care online without the constraints of a clinic schedule.
As a Telehealth Vet with DocTel VetCare, you'll provide virtual consultations for non-emergency concerns, offering expert advice, triage, and follow-up care for pet owners nationwide.
This is a fully remote, flexible role — ideal for veterinarians seeking work-life balance while continuing to make an impact.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct secure video consultations for dogs, cats, and small animals.
- Offer professional advice on general health, behaviour, nutrition, and preventive care.
- Assess cases and advise when in-clinic examinations are required.
- Maintain accurate clinical records in line with veterinary governance standards.
- Collaborate with DocTel VetCare's admin and tech teams to improve the telehealth experience.
Requirements
- Current registration as a Veterinarian with a relevant Australian state or territory board.
- Minimum 2 years' experience in companion-animal practice.
- Excellent communication and digital-consultation skills.
- Reliable internet connection and professional home workspace.
- Compassionate, ethical approach to animal welfare and client communication.
