Storeworker - VIC

Solargain is a dynamic and professional organisation specialising in the suplly and installation of solar PV, energy storage systems and solar hot water systems. We are a leading national company helping Australians to clean and renewable life.

Based in West Melbourne, you will be responsible for organising stock for our electrical installation teams and plumbers; optimising warehouse performance; and receiving and dispatch of goods for our national branches.

You will also be doing the delivery in between our two warehouses, West Melbourne and Dandenong.

Full training will be provided as required, both on an introductory and ongoing basis to ensure a strong development of skill and career at Solargain.

Duties

• Picking and packing of orders
• Receiving and dispatching of goods
• Operating a forklift
• Ensuring jobs are ready for daily workloads
• Stock take and stock control
• General warehouse duties - optimising and organising our warehouse
• Following Workplace Health & Safety practices
• Assisting Dandenong warehouse if needed

Skills & Experience

• Able to perform full-time hours, hours between 6am-4pm (shifts will vary between those hours)
• Self-motivated and committed
• Enthusiastic about accepting challenges and taking on new responsibilities
• Strong organisation skills are essential

Requirements

• Forklift License
• Victorian manual driver's license
• The position is open to Australian citizens &/or persons that have a legal, valid right to work in Australia.
