About Our Client

Our leading global mining and resource client is Australia's largest producer and supplier of seaborne metallurgical coal. With over 100 years of operation within Australia, they mine metallurgical coal across seven sites within their Queensland Operations in the Bowen Basin.

What you will be Doing

Magazine Management

Managing the loading, tying and firing of blasts

Ability to following drill and blast designs

Blast clearance management

Quality assurance

Technical expertise on products, loading and blast patterns

Equipment Prestart compliance

On bench auditing compliance

On bench excellence compliance

Handling explosives

Blast site preparation

Measuring holes, setting up perimeter fencing

Setting up reloading areas

Stemming of holes

Ancillary equipment operation

Safe driving and TMP compliance

Liaison with Technical Services/Supervisor/Superintendent regarding planned shots.

What you will need

Shot Firer Licence

Current Drivers licence

S1, S2, S3

SSAN Clearance Card

Coal Board Medical and Standard 11 or willingness to obtain
