About the role

This full-time Van Building Assistant role offers an exciting opportunity to join the dynamic team at Vida Style Solutions', based in Marcoola, Queensland. As a Workshop Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the efficient creation of our bespoke van conversions, cutouts and accessories installation, contributing to the success of our business.

What you'll be doing

  • Assisting workshop technicians with van lining, cabinetry work, installation of appliances, auto electrical work & the general van building process
  • Performing basic tasks such as cleaning, organising and maintaining the workshop area
  • Ensuring all tools and equipment are well-maintained and stored correctly
  • Must be practical, able to lift and willing to learn
  • Flexible working hours available for the right candidate
  • Adhering to all health, safety and environmental policies and procedures

What we're looking for

  • Previous experience in a similar workshop or automotive assistant role, or a keen interest in the trades industry
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions accurately
  • Good communication and customer service skills
  • A positive, hardworking and team-oriented attitude
  • A current driver's licence and your own reliable transportation
