We're looking for a fun and energetic Barista/ Café All Rounder to join our Stoneground Bakery team.

Part time/ Casual position available with fixed shifts and no evening shifts

The Job

  • Always give excellent customer service & exceed guest expectations
  • Ensure the Stoneground's standard is maintained in food service & preparing coffee
  • Serve customers efficiently
  • Give advice, guidance & recommendations on products to our guests
  • Assist in preparation of display counters before, during & at the end of service.
  • Managing queues & meeting customer expectations
  • Keep areas tidy & clean
  • Work as part of a team and provide backup to other team member.

To succeed in this role candidates must have:

  • Previous hospitality/café experience
  • Someone happy to serve customers over the counter and make coffee
  • Barista must have previous experience min 2 years in coffee making, weighing and timing shots and latte art
  • Good milk texturing techniques
  • Clear understanding on how to adjust grinders
  • Passion for the service industry and an interest in food/baking/artisan bread/pastry/coffee
  • Can-do attitude is essential
  • Customer service excellence and proactive approach to creating a warm and friendly community environment
  • Punctuality is essential
  • Can work quickly and efficiently
  • Well-presented & safety conscious
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Early morning starts (6 am)
  • Weekend and Mid week ( Wednesday & Thursday ) availability
  • Own Transport
