Role Details –
- Commencement Date: ASAP
- 30 hours per week, 48 working weeks per year and 4 weeks annual leave
- Rostered for Before & After School Care sessions and administrative duties
- Under the moderate direction of the Principal, Head of Campus and OSHC Director, the Outside School Hours & Vacation Care Assistant Director (OSHC AD) is responsible for coordinating the activities of OSHC & Vacation Care staff and programs on a day-to-day basis.
- The OSHC & Vacation Care Assistant Director will have full knowledge of the Education and Early Childhood Service, Registrations and Standards Board regulations for OSHC Services to support the Director in ensuring the centre complies with the regulations of the Statutory Authority in all practices and policies of the St Thomas More OSHC and Vacation Care Service.
- In the Director's absence, the OSHC & Vacation Care Assistant Director is to be trained and practiced in all elements of the centre to maintain seamless service to our students and families.

About You
To be successful in the role, you will have experience and passion for working with young people in growth-focused, positive and professional ways:
- Demonstrated ability to work and communicate effectively with children.
- Experience working with children with additional needs
- Ability to implement positive and supportive behaviour management practices and be a good role model for students
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Proven ability to develop a strong positive rapport with students, staff, and parents/caregivers and foster effective professional relationships.
- High-level organisational and time management skills.
- Willingness to uphold the culture and ethos of Catholic schools
- An active commitment to ongoing professional learning and development
You will have:
- Approved ACECQA Diploma level qualification. (List of approved qualifications at: )
- Approved Responding to Risks of Harm Abuse and Neglect – Education and Care (RRHAN-EC) certificate.
- Current Provide First Aid in an Education and Care Setting (HLTAID012) certificate
- Current acceptable Department of Human Services (DHS) Working With Children Check (WWCC)
- Food Safety training
