We are on the hunt for a female support worker with a big heart and a calm, confident vibe to support an amazing 8-year-old girl after school in her home.

She is full of energy, personality, and loves movement She thrives on routine, patience, and creativity. She has additional needs including Autism (Level 2), ADHD, and FASD, so we're looking for someone who can bring structure, fun, and a trauma-informed approach to each day.

What You Will Do:

  • Help her transition calmly from school to her evening routine
  • Encourage fun, sensory-friendly activities
  • Support emotional regulation and engagement
  • Maintain a peaceful, low-distraction environment
  • Assist with light household tasks (tidying, safe spaces)
  • Occasionally attend after-school activities

Shifts:

Monday to Thursday: 4:00 PM – 7:00 PM

What We Are Looking For:

  • Experience working with children
  • Understanding of neurodiversity & behaviour support
  • Quick thinker who brings calm to unstructured moments
  • Great communicator & rapport builder
  • Comfortable with home routines & light domestic tasks
  • Tech savvy & confident using a smartphone

Requirements:

  • Current WA driver's licence and reliable, insured vehicle.
  • National Police Clearance (obtained within the last 6 months).
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check.
  • Working with Children Check.
  • Eligibility to work in Australia.
  • Located within 20km of Swan View.

Pay: $43.00 – $45.00 per hour
