Join the Strategic Communications Division and lead the development of strategic, high-impact communications for one of Victoria's most forward-thinking energy initiatives — the Victorian Energy Upgrades (VEU) program.
As Senior Communications and Campaign Adviser, you'll deliver innovative communications and campaign strategies that drive public understanding and engagement with the VEU program. You'll champion the value of energy efficiency, support Victorian households and businesses in accessing upgrades, and play a critical role in shaping how this transformative initiative is seen across the state.
This role is ideal for a senior communications and marketing professional who loves working strategically both above and below-the-line, thrives in a fast-paced environment, with expertise in end-to-end campaign management and a sharp eye for performance metrics.
About the Victorian Energy Upgrades Program
Victorian Energy Upgrades is the state's flagship energy efficiency program. It helps Victorians reduce energy bills and greenhouse gas emissions by encouraging the adoption of energy-saving technologies. As the program expands, you'll help amplify its presence and impact through compelling, well-targeted campaigns.

- Provide high-level communications advice to stakeholders across DEECA, government and partner agencies.
- Develop content for diverse audiences, balancing strategic goals with accessibility and engagement.
- Identify reputational risks and communication opportunities, tailoring approaches for multiple channels and audiences.
- Support the Communications Manager, demonstrating leadership and strategic value to secure stakeholder buy-in.
- Foster a culture of inclusivity and cultural safety in all aspects of communication and team collaboration.
About You
You're a confident communicator with strong stakeholder management skills and a background in campaign development and evaluation. You're data-savvy and curious, with an instinct for what drives performance. You're collaborative, committed to good governance, and passionate about making energy efficiency meaningful to Victorians.
