Optical Dispenser/ Pre-Testing Technician/Receptionist

We are looking for an enthusiastic, adaptable, and fast-learning individual to join our incredible team of 3 optometrists, 6 qualified optical dispensers and 2 Pre-Testing Technicians/Receptionists.

Plus we only open Monday to Friday- Meaning No Weekend work and No Thursday Nights.

About the Role:

You'll be the first point of contact for our patients and play a key role in ensuring their visit runs smoothly. Your responsibilities will include:

• Welcoming and checking in patients

• Managing bookings, phone calls, payments and general reception tasks

• Performing pre-testing on patients using the very best OCT, visual fields, retinal imaging instruments.

• Supporting the optometrists and dispensers to ensure efficient clinic flow

• Handling admin and assisting with general day-to-day operations

What We're Looking For:

• Warm, friendly, enthusiastic team player.

• Fast learner with the ability to pick up new skills quickly.

• Strong focus on patient care and clear communication

• Adaptable and calm under pressure — able to multitask

• Comfortable with technology and competent to work with clinical equipment (full training provided)

• Previous experience in reception, healthcare, or optometry is a bonus — but not essential
