Take control of your learning space, guiding your experienced team and shaping the curriculum with your ideas and expertise.

Work in a modern centre with over-ratio rooms, meaning less stress and more support. The centre is family-owned with family-like values, and youll be backed by a passionate team and accessible leadership. The staff turnover is low and the current Educators have been with the same group all year.

You'll get planning time above what the regulations require, giving you more space to develop a curriculum that reflects your approach and the needs of the children. With abundant resources, you wont be held back by a lack of materials.

On top of that, youll have a generous salary of up to $40 per hour (pending experience) and a clear career progressions eg, to Assistant Centre Manager, Educational Leader etc

This family-owned and operated early learning centre, is just three years old and caters to 100 children when at full capacity.

Their philosophy centres on nurturing childrens interests with warmth and care, encouraging empowerment through child-initiated experiences and fostering strong connections with families and the community.

What you will do

  • Take ownership of the learning space, guiding your team to deliver quality experiences every day.
  • Develop and implement age-appropriate curricula, ensuring it aligns with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Framework (NQF).
  • Mentor and coach educators, developing their skills and knowledge.
  • Build solid relationships with teams, children and families, proactively communicating with families on childrens learning goals and development.

What you will need

  • Holds a Diploma in Early Childhood Education (minimum) as approved by ACECQA
  • Has at least one year of experience leading a room or 3 years as an Educator with natural leadership abilities
  • Passion for impacting childrens development and mentoring fellow educators
  • The usual documentation Blue Card, First Aid etc
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build trusting relationships with colleagues, families and the community
  • A solid understanding of contemporary child-safe practices and early learning frameworks.
