Job Description

Your opportunity to join our team

As a Maintenance Fitter at our Sorell facility, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of our machinery and equipment. You will play a key role in minimizing downtime and maximizing productivity by performing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting issues, and making necessary repairs. Daily Tasks

• Performing routine maintenance and repairs on machinery and equipment

• Troubleshooting mechanical issues and implementing effective solutions

• Conducting preventative maintenance to ensure optimal performance

• Adhering to safety protocols and procedures

• Working in shifts, including early mornings, late evenings, and weekends

• Maintaining accurate records of maintenance activities

• Collaborating with production teams to minimize downtime

You will bring to this role

• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

• Good communication and teamwork skills

• Reliability and punctuality

• Physical fitness to perform manual tasks and lift heavy objects

• Flexibility to work various shifts

• Previous experience in a similar role is advantageous but not required
