What is the role and what team does it sit within?

We're seeking a skilled Software Engineer to join our dynamic development team. This software engineer position sits within our core engineering division, where you'll work alongside experienced software engineers who are committed to delivering exceptional products.

What does the team do in Frollo?

Our engineering team develops and maintains robust Ruby on Rails applications that serve clients across various industries. As a software engineer on this team, you'll be part of a collaborative environment that values innovation, technical excellence, and continuous learning. The team focuses on creating scalable solutions while maintaining the highest security standards.

What does this role do within the team?

As our Software Engineer, you will

  • Develop and maintain Ruby on Rails applications - building new features and ensuring scalable, well-documented code
  • Collaborate on API design and integration - working with mobile engineers and product teams to deliver seamless user experiences
  • Ensure product reliability and security - implementing comprehensive testing, troubleshooting issues, and maintaining bank-level security standards

Essential skills we're looking for:

  • 2-4 years backend development experience with proficiency in Ruby on Rails, Python, or JavaScript
  • Strong SQL database knowledge (PostgreSQL, MySQL) with excellent communication skills
  • Product-focused mindset with attention to detail and passion for clean, maintainable code
