ELICOS Teacher

Blue Lotus College (BLC), located in Melbourne CBD, conducts VET and ELICOS courses. The college prides itself on providing diversity of courses for students and offering a high-quality education.

BLC is currently seeking qualified and dynamic teachers to join its ELICOS team. We are particularly looking for instructors with the experience of teaching General English courses from Elementary to Advanced levels.

Candidates will need to be professional, dedicated, and passionate about teaching English to international students and have good communication and teamwork skills.

Qualifications, skills and experience required for successful applicants

  1. Recognized TESOL qualification such as:

  2. CELTA, Cert IV TESOL, Trinity TESOL Certificate or

  3. Post Grad Cert TESOL, Post Grad Diploma TESOL, Masters in TESOL or
  4. Bachelor of Education with ESL Method or
  5. Graduate Diploma in Education with ESL Method

The ideal candidates should have:

  • Experience in teaching English Students at a range of different levels
  • Experience in assessing students and providing feedback
  • Experience in developing course curricula, planning and delivery
  • Experience in giving appropriate feedback sensitively
  • Demonstrated ability to use initiative
  • Ability to work in a team

Skills and Experience preferred

  1. International teaching experience
  2. Post Graduate Diploma or Masters in TESOL
