Caretaker / Gardener / Handyman

We are family-owned cattle farm 28km north of Merriwa NSW in the upper valley.

We have a position available for a paid Caretaker/Gardener/Handyman to look after gardens and general maintenance on buildings on our farm, as directed by the Farm Manager. There would also be work available for your partner if you wanted to apply as working couple.

The candidates will ideally have the following:

• Experience in garden maintenance and care
• Good all-round skills regarding yard maintenance, ability to operate a tractor and all other equipment i.e. mower, hedger, chainsaw etc.
• Experience in general maintenance of buildings and repairs.
• An enthusiastic, proactive, and positive attitude to work.
• Responsible attitude and ability to follow instructions.
• Ability to work unsupervised for long periods of time.

Duties will include but are not limited to:

• Machine operation, driving and maintenance
• Overall maintenance and repairs of grounds, pool, irrigation and gardens
• Spraying - weed control
• Infrastructure improvements
• General yard work

A neat 3 bedroom, 2Bath house will be provided if as part of your package.
