THE ROLE

Core is seeking an experienced electrician with relevant experience and qualifications to join the project team within the NSW Far South Coast Region.

Reporting to the Project Manager, you will have the capability of planning, organising, leading and delivering day-to-day requirements of a project in line with the construction program.

To deliver the required outcomes, the candidate for this role needs to be able to demonstrate:

• Appropriate electrical trade qualification i.e. NSW Electrical Contractor Licence or NSW Supervisor Certificate issued by NSW Fair Trading;
• Experience working on commercial and industrial electrical projects. This includes installation, testing and commissioning of switchboards, cable support systems, submain cabling, subcircuit cabling, lighting, power, communications, process control, motor control and instrumentation;
• A background in reading, understanding and complying with project specifications;
• An ability to understand and interpret electrical, communications and architectural drawings;
• The ability to work collaboratively with Core team members and other stakeholders including suppliers, customers and subcontractors;
• The ability to plan, organise and deliver electrical and communications works to project timelines and budgets while delivering quality outcomes;
• A strong commitment to WH&S and prior experience with input into development and implementation of relevant SWMS's, permits, isolations and controls to ensure the safety of the team;

LICENCES / QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED

• Unrestricted Driver's licence;
• Construction Industry Induction Card (White Card);
• NSW Electrical Contractor Licence or Supervisor Certificate
