About the Role

We're looking for a passionate and organised Fruit & Veg 3IC to join our team. You'll work closely with the Fruit & Veg Manager to lead the daily operations of the department, ensuring our produce is fresh, beautifully presented, and our customers enjoy an outstanding shopping experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise team members to achieve high standards.
  • Manage daily and weekly task lists, rosters, and training for new staff.
  • Ensure the department is fully stocked, clean, and well-presented.
  • Oversee stock levels, ordering, credits, and price changes.
  • Maintain compliance with company policies and food safety standards.
  • Communicate effectively with the Fruit & Veg Specialist and store management.
  • Ensure specials and seasonal produce are displayed prominently.

About You

  • 1+ years' experience in fruit & veg or fresh food retail (preferred).
  • Proven leadership and team management skills (preferred).
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment, including weekends.
  • Knowledge of seasonal produce and quality standards.
