Imagine Childcare and Preschool Grafton is looking a passionate and skilled Senior Centre Director to join our growing team
As a key part of the leadership team, you'll play a pivotal role in supporting and developing educators & early childhood teachers in your centre, as well as implementing the educational program and experiences to meet the individual needs of our children.
About your new role
- Managing the day-to-day operations of the centre in line with legislative requirements, and company policies and procedures.
- Provide leadership, mentoring and guidance to all staff.
- Support with managing staffing rosters efficiently.
- Effectively manage the financial requirements of the centre in line with budget guidelines.
- Ensure that high-quality standards for centre presentation and work practices are practiced consistently.
- Ensure that high-quality early learning programs are delivered by our passionate team of Educators.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with children, families, Educators, the local business community, and all other stakeholders.
- Ensure you are actively attracting, converting and retaining families by effectively managing and overseeing tours, enrolments and orientation in conjunction with our Enrolments Team
About you
- A Diploma in Children's Services or Early Childhood Degree as approved by ACECQA.
- Must have 2 year experience as a Centre Director in an early childhood setting.
- Current WWCC, approved first aid, CPR, anaphylaxis and asthma qualifications.
- Extensive understanding of the Early Years Learning Development Framework (EYLDF), National Quality Standards (NQS), and Quality Improvement Plan (QIP).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to lead and mentor a team of qualified and committed early childhood professionals.
- Willingness to undertake and coordinate ongoing professional development training for Educators.
