The Role

Montessori Academy is currently recruiting passionate, creative, and dedicated Diploma and Certificate III Educators to join our fantastic teams at our Engadine and Gymea Centres. This is a great opportunity for early childhood professionals who are passionate about early childhood education to make their mark and help take Montessori Academy's already outstanding educational program to the next level.

Our early learning campuses offer approachable and supportive Centre Managers, a collaborative team environment, excellent development and training opportunities, and beautiful facilities inside and out. The successful applicant will have a strong understanding of the National Quality Framework, a passion for early childhood education, and a sound knowledge of the Montessori Philosophy.

Key Competencies:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively and cooperatively within a team environment
  • Strong understanding of the importance of family communications
  • Sound knowledge of the National Quality Framework and National Quality Standard
  • Understanding of the Montessori Philosophy
  • Experience working with children aged 0–6 years
  • Passion for early childhood education
  • Commitment to the holistic development of students in their care

Essential Criteria:

  • Certificate III or Diploma in Children's Services (or equivalent)
  • Availability for shifts between 7am and 6pm, Monday to Friday
  • Understanding of regulations and legislation related to children's services
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Current Working with Children Check
  • First Aid Certificate
  • Working knowledge of the National Quality Framework, including National Regulations, National Quality Standards (NQS), and the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF)
