Role Title: Database Engineer / Database Administrator

Job Description-

We are seeking a skilled Database Engineer to design, implement, and manage relational and non-relational database solutions across multiple environments. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Oracle, PostgreSQL, and SQL Server, with a focus on performance, scalability, and data integrity.

Key Responsibilities-
  • Design and manage relational and non-relational database schemas across Oracle, PostgreSQL, and SQL Server.
  • Develop and maintain data models, migration scripts, and ETL processes to support application and analytics requirements.
  • Ensure optimal database performance through tuning, indexing, and schema optimization.
  • Maintain data integrity, consistency, and security across all environments.
  • Collaborate with cloud and application teams to support data migration to cloud platforms under strict security and compliance frameworks.
  • Perform regular backups, monitoring, and disaster recovery planning.
  • Implement and enforce database governance standards and access controls.
Required Skills & Experience
  • Proven experience with Oracle, PostgreSQL, and SQL Server database administration and development.
  • Strong knowledge of data modelling, schema design, and performance tuning.
  • Experience with data migration, ETL tools, and database scripting.
  • Familiarity with cloud-based databases (AWS RDS, Azure SQL, etc.) and security best practices.
  • Solid understanding of SQL, stored procedures, triggers, and query optimization.
  • Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with NoSQL databases (MongoDB, DynamoDB, etc.).
  • Exposure to DevOps practices or CI/CD for databases.
  • Certifications in Oracle DBA, PostgreSQL, or Azure/AWS databases.
