Georgiou are offering an exciting new opportunity for an Apprentice Auto Electrician to join our Hazelmere Workshop team, commencing in January 2026. Earn while you learn within our structured apprenticeship program, attend Industry leading training and gain the on-the-job skills and knowledge required for a successful career in Mobile Plant and Equipment Maintenance with a Cert III in Automotive Electrical Technology.
Our 4-year program starts with the first year based in our Perth workshop, rotating through different repair sections. The second year continues in the workshop and includes short-term introductions to site based work. In the third and fourth years our apprentices broaden their learning by working in our Field Service and Site based teams along with Component Rebuilds in our workshop.
Georgiou Plant department is responsible for the maintenance and servicing of all Georgiou Plant & Equipment and the successful candidate will assist and work alongside our tradesman to gain the skills and knowledge to ensure that earthmoving equipment, light vehicles, plant and infrastructure are repaired and maintained to the required standard of safety and reliability for the efficient running of plant services or our projects.
Applicants must meet the following criteria to be eligible:
- Successful completion of Year 12 education and pre-apprenticeship training or relevant work experience in the chosen trade
- Proven commitment to safety
- Able to work in team environment
- Must be able to make daily arrangements for travel to work location in Hazelmere
- First Aid Certificate is desirable
- Highly motivated and driven to achieve desired outcomes
- Have Basic computer skills
- Able to follow direction and undertake tasks as directed
