With offices in Adelaide, Melbourne, Perth and Brisbane, we're known for technical excellence, agile delivery, and strong partnerships. if you want to work on cutting-edge energy infrastructure with a company that values both performance and people – PSD is the place for you.The RoleWe're looking for an experienced Senior SCADA Engineer to take a lead role in delivering SCADA systems across our utility-scale renewable and substation projects. you'll be responsible for end-to-end SCADA design, configuration, testing and commissioning – working with key stakeholders including AEMO, transmission providers, DNSPs, and EPC partners. This role is based in our Adelaide office with occasional travel to project siters across Australia.Key Responsibilities:• Lead the design, development and commissioning of SCADA systems for substations, BESS, and solar projects.• Coordinate with internal electrical, commissioning, and controls teams, as well as external contractors and clients.• prepare detailed SCADA interface specifications and communication protocols (IEC 61850, DNP3, Modbus, etc.)• interface with AEMO, SA Power Networks, ElectraNet, and other network providers.• support FAT, SAT, RTU configuration, PLC programming (where relevant) and NER compliance.• Troubleshoot SCADA and comms issues across OT networks and ensure secure remote access integration.About you:• Degree-qualified in Electrical, Electronics or Mechatronics Engineering.• 5+ years' experience in SCADA/controls roles in power systems or renewable infrastructure.• Strong working knowledge of SCADA< RTUs, PLCs, HMIs, and protocols (DNP3, Modbus, IEC • Experience delivering projects to AEMO/grid standards• Clear communicator with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders• Ability to travel occasionally to project sites as required.• SCADA integration experience in substations is highly desirable.Why PSD?• Growing business at the cutting edge of Australia's energy transition• collaborative and high-performance team culture• work on nationally significant projects.• Flexible, supportive and technically focused work environment• career development opportunities in a business that values it people.Apply TodayIf you're a passionate and experienced SCADA professional looking to make a difference in renewable infrastructure, we'd love to hear from you.******no recruitment agencies-*******
