Are you a First Nations university student studying engineering and ready to gain hands-on industry experience? Pitt & Sherry is offering a unique opportunity to work alongside experienced professionals, develop your skills, and receive a scholarship to support your studies.
This internship is designed to give you practical exposure to engineering projects while you continue your degree. You'll gain insight into real-world work in areas such as civil engineering, bridges, and structures, while being part of a supportive and inclusive team that values diversity and cultural heritage.
This role is open to applicants based in Melbourne, Sydney, and Tasmania.
What will you be doing?
Depending On Your Study Schedule, You'll Complete Either
- 4 weeks full-time OR
- 1 day per week over 8 weeks
You'll work on real engineering projects, learning from experts in the field and building experience that will give you an edge in your future career.
About You
- Identify as Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander
- Currently enrolled in an engineering degree (civil, bridges, structures, or related discipline)
- Eager to gain hands-on experience and learn from industry professionals
- Organised, reliable, and able to work well in a team environment
