Associate Director, Strategy, Planning and Innovation (Decarbonisation), Temporary, Sydney
This role is a 13-month temporary role. It is a salary Grade 11/12, with the base salary for this role starting at $149,739 - $173,174 base plus superannuation, commensurate with experience.

About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and dynamic individual to join us as the Associate Director, Strategy, Planning and Innovation (Decarbonisation). In this role, you will play a crucial part in leading the NSW Government infrastructure decarbonisation policy initiatives.
Some of the key accountabilities for the role include:
- Leading drafting, analysis, and quality assurance for the expansion of the NSW Government Decarbonising Infrastructure Delivery Policy to whole life carbon
- Managing key outputs and materials, and coordinating government and industry engagement on the expanded policy and supporting documents
- Managing stakeholder engagement, addressing feedback from stakeholder engagement and coordinating government approval processes
- Managing and supporting more junior team members
- Developing and maintaining positive working relationships with key stakeholders to allow the gathering of information and to influence outcomes in a complex stakeholder environment.
About You
Our ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented and is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities. Additionally, they bring significant experience in interacting with stakeholders within complex and dynamic environments, particularly within infrastructure sector. Experience in infrastructure projects and decarbonisation would be highly valued.
