This is your chance to shape the future of retail for Arc'teryx in Australia and New Zealand. As the Head of Retail , you'll lead our store and regional teams to grow brand awareness, deliver exceptional guest experiences, and set the benchmark for the outdoor industry.
You'll design and execute a long-term retail and people strategy, guiding the business through rapid, sustainable growth. With a balance of strategic vision and operational excellence, you'll build high-performing teams, strengthen our community presence, and deliver outstanding results across our retail fleet.
We're looking for a charismatic leader who thrives on people development, inspires through storytelling, and champions a culture of inclusion and performance.
What You'll Be Doing- Developing and executing a multi-year retail strategy aligned to ANZ growth plans, community engagement, and new store openings.
- Building a pipeline of future leaders, driving performance culture, and investing in people development.
- Leading fleet-wide initiatives and multi-year projects, collaborating across brand, product, finance, people & culture, and global retail teams.
- Driving retail P&L performance and KPIs, ensuring profitability while growing sustainably.
- Influencing new site selection and store design, shaping the next wave of retail growth.
- Leveraging consumer insights and market trends to inform retail and community strategies.
- Strengthening brand equity by aligning retail execution with Arc'teryx values and purpose.
- Inspiring your team and peers by living our values and leading with clarity, accountability, and passion.
- 10 years' leadership in retail/commercial roles within a global apparel or outdoor brand.
- A proven track record of creating and executing multi-year strategies to drive profitable growth.
- Strong financial acumen with full P&L responsibility.
- Experience building, coaching, and leading high-performing teams.
- Deep knowledge of the retail landscape, with outdoor industry experience (preferred).
- Comfort leading through change in a high-growth, complex business.
- An entrepreneurial approach to problem-solving and scaling best practices.
- Passion for the outdoors and alignment with Arc'teryx values.
- Ability to travel regionally and internationally.
