Vocational Consultant

We are seeking a talented individual to join our Vocational Rehabilitation team at Recovre. This role will be based in Melbourne. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.
Recovre's Vocational Consultants are experts at motivating and inspiring clients to be the hero of their own story. You will work within a multi-disciplinary team committed to helping clients achieve safe, healthy, and productive outcomes in their return to work journey. Backed by Marsh McLennan, you will have the confidence, autonomy and flexibility to deliver exceptional outcomes while growing your career your way.
We will count on you to:
- Build trust with clients and foster collaborative partnerships with all stakeholders
- Identify hurdles to return to work following illness, injury or mental health challenges and collaboratively problem solve to achieve safe and sustainable recovery and independence
- Conduct thorough vocational assessments including Transferrable Skills Analysis and Treating Health Practitioner Case Conferences
- Provide skills assessment, career counselling, job placement support, and guide clients through job search activities such as resume writing and interview preparation
- Manage cases with regular and accurate reporting and travel to client appointments as required
What you need to have:
- Qualification as an Allied Health Professional with registration or ability to acquire registration (with support) in one of the following: AHPRA, ESSA (AEP), ASORC, RCAA, AASW
- Significant skills and experience in employment consulting or job brokerage, or relevant Bachelor degree or higher, or approved by WorkSafe Victoria to deliver NES or Vocational services
