About the role: With its long-standing history in the equine industry, Total Animal Supplies aims to deliver fast and efficient service to their customers and that's where you come in. We're looking for a dedicated Warehouse Assistant with an interest of customer delivery to join our Ballarat Warehouse team.

Your daily duties will involve but will not be limited to:

  • Picking, Packing & Dispatching of orders to a high standard and pick rate.
  • Assist with all stock control processes, including receiving inwards goods, cycle counts etc.
  • Work with the team to achieve stock integrity through stock replenishment, date expiry checks, stocktakes etc
  • Load and unload trucks, or help others with loading and unloading, operating any special loading-related equipment on vehicles, and using other equipment as necessary such as forklift (if licensed)
  • Secure cargo for transport, using straps, gates, or covers
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment, including daily housekeeping initiatives.
  • General warehouse duties as directed
  • Manual labour & repetitive lifting throughout your shift

Our ideal candidate will have:

  • Previous warehouse experience in a similar role
  • A strong work ethic, being reliable & punctual
  • A current forklift license is ideal
  • Strong accountability, taking ownership in finding solutions
  • The proficiency to work unsupervised and as part of a friendly, passionate, and successful team.
  • The ability to lift up to 25kg repeatedly is a requirement
  • Drive their own career journey, always aspiring to be the best they can be

As part of the recruitment process, you will:

  • Undergo a Police Check
  • Undertake a pre-employment medical, including a drug & alcohol screen
