Pay Rate: $32.00 – $70.00 per hour (based on shift type and experience)

About Us

Campbelltown Protective Service is a respected and reliable provider of professional security services across Sydney. We pride ourselves on delivering high-quality service to our clients in retail, commercial, and community environments.

We are currently seeking experienced and motivated Static Security Guards for shopping centre sites in the Macarthur region, including Ingleburn Town Centre and Bradbury Shopping Centre.

About the Role

This role is suited for a professional, alert, and customer-focused static guard who takes pride in maintaining safety and providing excellent service. The position involves securing shopping centre premises, monitoring for suspicious or anti-social behaviour, assisting tenants and shoppers, and responding to incidents as required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain a visible and professional presence at assigned shopping centres
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and general foot traffic
  • Conduct regular foot patrols of public areas, toilets, loading docks, and car parks
  • Respond to incidents and emergencies calmly and professionally
  • Complete accurate incident reports and shift logs
  • Provide directions or assistance to members of the public when needed
  • Deter theft, vandalism, and anti-social behaviour through proactive engagement

Requirements

  • Current and valid NSW Security Licence
  • Fluent in English (spoken and written)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and remain alert at all times
  • Well-groomed, punctual, and reliable
  • Previous experience in static guarding, retail, or shopping centre environments preferred
  • Availability to work on a rotating roster including days, afternoons, nights, weekends, and public holidays
