We're currently hiring more pizza chefs for a new venue on Sydney's Northern Beaches for an established hospitality group based on the beaches, Ullo Pizza & Wine ) as we get busier

ULLO Pizza & wine is Dee Why's premier pizza focused venue, located on the beach at Dee Why, serving our own unique style of Neapolitan leaning, hand stretched pizzas. Everything is made in house and served in a bustling, fun environment including an open plan kitchen seeing into the restaurant.

About the role

ULLO Dee Why is looking for a full-time Pizza Chef to join our team.

  • 2+ years experience
  • Adaptable, organised and professional with an eye for detail
  • Pizza Chef must require knowledge around hand stretching pizza, dough production and dough management
  • Work in a busy open kitchen, so being well presented and cool, calm and collected is important.

ABOUT THE COMPANY

THE ROLE + THE IDEAL CANDIDATE MUST HAVE:

  • Must be highly experienced specialising in pizza making
  • Hand stretch dough and good knife skills
  • Good knowledge and genuine interest in pizza creation, fermentation & modern Italian style cooking
  • You will be responsible for producing authentic pizza dough, preparing ingredients, cooking pizza to order while insuring all recipes are accurate, delivering premium products that set us apart from the rest.
  • Use correct techniques and follow procedures and recipes when preparing and cooking menu items
  • Demonstrate new cooking techniques and equipment to staff.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Can handle pressure and a fast paced environment
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Fluent English and well groomed
  • Available to work some days, evenings and weekends. The venue will be serving lunch Wednesday to Sunday, dinner from Monday to Sunday.
