About the role

We are seeking enthusiastic and experienced Waiters/ Waitress and Bar tender to join our vibrant team at the UNICORN SEAFOOD RESTAURANT BROADBEACH and Unicorn Cafe in Broadbeach, Queensland. This is a casual position, offering flexible hours and the opportunity to work in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.

What you'll be doing

  • performing your duties as a section waiter/ waitress allocated by manager.
  • Providing exceptional customer service to our patrons, ensuring a memorable dining experience
  • Taking food and beverage orders, delivering menu items accurately and promptly
  • taking payments/ billing
  • Maintaining a clean and organised work environment, adhering to health and safety standards
  • Assisting with other restaurant duties as required, such as setting up and closing the venue

What we're looking for

  • Applicants with previous experience as a section wait staff will be contacted only.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to provide exceptional customer service
  • Solid knowledge of food and beverage preparation
  • sound knowledge of wines will be preference
  • A friendly, energetic and hardworking attitude, with a commitment to teamwork
  • Flexibility to work a range of shifts, including weekends and public holidays
  • A current Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certificate or willingness to obtain one
