Paraway Pastoral Company is seeking a motivated Station Hand to join our team at Aberbaldie Station, near Walcha in the New England region of NSW.

About the role

As a Station Hand, you'll be involved in all aspects of day-to-day station life. This includes handling and caring for cattle, from mustering to drafting, maintaining fences, water points and general infrastructure, and operating vehicles, bikes and machinery safely.

You'll also support pasture management and basic record keeping, while working closely with a small team to get the job done.

What you'll bring

  • Experience with cattle operations and working dogs
  • Understanding of grazing and pasture management
  • Competence in operating farm machinery
  • A current manual driver's licence
  • A safety-first approach and willingness to learn
  • Team spirit - reliable, respectful and supportive of others
  • Attention to detail and pride in your work
  • (First Aid, AgVet Chemical and other tickets are an advantage)
