These positions are being offered in a Permanent Part-Time capacity (0.79FTE), 60 hours per fortnight.

Charters Towers School of Distance Education is a leading provider of flexible learning in Queensland, Australia. Established to support students in remote and rural areas, Charters Towers School of Distance Education offers high-quality education from Prep to Year 12 through online platforms, phone lessons, and printed materials. With a strong focus on individual learning needs, the school connects students across vast distances, ensuring access to comprehensive education regardless of location. Its dedicated teachers and support staff foster a supportive, inclusive learning environment that empowers students to achieve their personal and academic goals.

Step Into Your Next Chapter:

This role is based onsite in Charters Towers and involves working as part of a small team to deliver online lessons for intervention programs and learning support to students.

  • Delivery of intervention program and learning support lessons via online platforms
  • Assist in the customisation and creation of lesson resources
  • Communicating effectively and displaying high level of interpersonal skills to function as an effective team member.
  • Maintaining anecdotal records on students for use in reviewing student's development.

What You Bring:

  • Advanced digital technology skills

  • Comfortable and confident conducting virtual lessons
