David Jones is currently seeking energetic and enthusiastic individuals to join our Christmas Casual team. We are hiring Sales Professionals, across departments including Toys, Fashion, Beauty and Homewares, as well as Logistics Assistants to support our back-of-house operations working across in-store fulfilment and the loading dock.

Our seasonal period commences in September 2025 and finishes at the end of January 2026. Start dates will be staggered, dependent on the needs of the business, with peak trading in November and December. 

Our Sales Professionals are

• Customer-obsessed and go out of their way to keep the customer front of mind in all decisions 
• Passionate about retail and love connecting with others
• Enthusiastic, energetic and dedicated to providing an in-store experience Like No Other 

Our Logistics Assistants 

• Complete tasks such as receiving stock, marking off items received, unboxing items, hanging items, ticketing, security tagging, picking orders for customers and wrapping/packaging orders ensuring timelines are met
• Liaise effectively and build stakeholder relationships with colleagues and external vendors
• Are team players who are inspired to achieve individual and team success

You must be available to work 3 or more days per week, and we require adequate availability across Black Friday & Cyber Weekend at the end of November, as well as in the lead-up to Christmas & Boxing Day.
