• Permanent Full Time | Mon to Friday OR 9 day fortnight available

• Execution of the annual occupational hygiene monitoring program with a key focus on hazards such as dust, fume and noise. Including the operation of equipment such as air sampling pumps, noise dosimeters and gas detectors.
• Management of data generated through occupational hygiene monitoring, including data entry via Cority software and feedback of results to key stakeholders.
• Managing calibration, servicing, and repairs of equipment and instrumentation.
• Preparation and update of site metrics related to occupational hygiene.
• As required, undertaking role related projects, focused on the identification and assessment of occupational hygiene hazards.
• Champion health hazard management through education and communication.
• Collaborate with site stakeholders to support risk reduction initiatives.
• Review and update occupational hygiene processes and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory and Rio Tinto requirements.

• Motivated self-starter with a strong desire to build a career in occupational hygiene.
• Keen interest in developing technical skills and expanding knowledge in occupational health and hygiene.
• Strong attention to detail, particularly in following monitoring procedures and ensuring accurate data entry and record-keeping.
• The ability to follow technical instructions and standard operating procedures with consistency and care.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
• Competent in using Microsoft Office and/or data management systems.
• Completed the Basic Principles of Occupational Hygiene course, or a willingness to complete the training within 12 months of appointment
