About the Role
As a Lending Associate, you'll work alongside senior brokers to analyse client situations, review financials, assess servicing, and workshop lending structures. You'll then prepare and manage applications through to settlement while ensuring a professional and seamless experience for clients.
This role involves more than processing paperwork — you will be actively involved in:
- Scenario modelling
- Policy comparison
- Structuring recommendations
- Client guidance
You'll learn how to think through lending strategy, not just how to lodge files.
What You'll Be Doing
- Lead elements of client communication and relationship support
- Conduct borrowing capacity & servicing analysis across multiple lenders
- Review financial statements, tax records and income documentation
Prepare and lodge applications for:
Home & Investment Loans
- Personal Loans
- Asset Finance
- Small Business Lending
- Manage applications through credit, approval and settlement
- Research lender policy to determine the strongest structure and fit
- Maintain CRM accuracy and compliance standards
- 2+ years experience in mortgage broking, lending support, banking or credit analysis
- Degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, Economics or Business
- Ability to interpret income documents and financial statements
- Strong communication and professional presence
- High attention to detail and structured workflow habits
- A growth mindset — driven to improve and take on responsibility
- Clear pathway to Broker with training and mentorship
- Exposure to intermediate and complex lending strategy
