Sydney, New South Wales, Australia Ultra Building Works Full time $90,000 - $120,000 per year

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and manage comprehensive estimates for a diverse range of building projects, including but not limited to, Commercial fit-outs, Heritage Restorations, & Government projects.
  • Attend tender meetings and contribute to project bids.
  • Develop and distribute tender packages to subcontractors and suppliers.
  • Reviewing and analysing subcontractor quotes
  • Price up jobs based on scope, drawings, and specifications provided.
  • Conduct handover meetings with the project teams to ensure smooth transition and execution.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers.
  • Leverage an extensive network of contacts within the industry to secure competitive pricing and expand business opportunities.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices.

Required Experience & Skills:

  • Proven experience as an Estimator, with a minimum of 5 years' experience.
  • Strong industry connections with a large network of subcontractors and suppliers.
  • Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
  • Proficient in estimating software – experience with Cubit is highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to liaise with clients, attend meetings, and collaborate with internal teams.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
