Role Overview

We are seeking a seasoned Automation Test Lead with strong hands-on experience in Selenium and advanced coding skills (preferably in Java, Python, or C#). The ideal candidate will lead the automation strategy, mentor test engineers, and ensure robust test coverage across web and mobile platforms.

Key Responsibilities


• Lead the design, development, and execution of automation test frameworks using Selenium


• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define test strategies and integrate automation into CI/CD pipelines


• Review and optimize test scripts for scalability, maintainability, and performance


• Mentor junior QA engineers and enforce best practices in test automation


• Analyze test results, identify root causes, and drive defect resolution


• Ensure alignment with Agile/Scrum methodologies and participate in sprint planning and retrospectives


• Maintain documentation for test cases, test plans, and automation architecture

Required Skills & Experience


• 6+ years of experience in QA automation, with at least 2 years in a lead role


• Strong proficiency in Selenium WebDriver and test automation frameworks (e.g., TestNG, JUnit, PyTest)


• Solid coding skills in Java, Python, or C#


• Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI) and version control systems (e.g., Git)


• Familiarity with API testing tools (e.g., Postman, RestAssured)


• Exposure to cloud-based testing platforms (e.g., BrowserStack, Sauce Labs)


• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills
