Blast Hole Driller – FIFO

Are you an experienced Blast Hole Driller looking for your next challenge? Rock on Ground (ROG) is seeking skilled and motivated drillers to join our team.

Key requirements:


• Proven blast hole drilling experience in open pit mining (top hammer or down hole hammer)


• Proficiency operating Sandvik DP1500i


• Strong understanding of drilling patterns, depths, and consumable selection


• Ability to complete daily drill logs, hole layouts, and pre-start inspections accurately


• Demonstrated commitment to safety, environmental compliance, and quality standards


• Ability to identify and report ground conditions, hazards, and equipment faults promptly


• Capable of working autonomously and as part of a close-knit production team


• Sound knowledge of blast hole charging and stemming procedures (advantageous)


• Basic mechanical aptitude to assist with minor servicing and maintenance


• Excellent communication and teamwork skills


• Current Australian Driver's Licence (HR preferred)


• Current National Police Clearance (within 6 months)


• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screen


• Full Australian working rights
