We are seeking a reliable individual to join our team as an all-rounder. We are looking for an individual with excellent customer service skills to provide the best possible service to our customers.

Responsibilities:

  • Customer service: Greet customers, take orders accurately, answer questions about the menu, and offer recommendations.
  • Food and beverage service: Serve food and beverages, ensure they are presented correctly.
  • Cash handling and sales: Process payments, operate the point-of-sale (POS) system, and manage cash and transactions.
  • Hygiene and safety: Maintain clean service areas, handle food and beverages hygienically, and follow all food safety laws.
  • Setup and cleaning: Set up and reset dining spaces, clean up tables.
  • Basic food preparation: May include tasks like making sandwiches.
  • Teamwork: Support the team during service and events, anticipate guest needs, and assist with other duties as required.

Requirements:

  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic mathematical skills for handling payments.
  • Willingness to work a flexible and rotating roster, including weekends and holidays.
  • Must have the right to work in Australia.

Desirable:

  • Previous experience in a similar role.
  • Ability to speak Portuguese.
  • A current Food Safety and Hygiene Certificate.

We are seeking a part-time employee to work between 10 to 25 hours per week in our shop in Belconnen, ACT.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $24.95 per hour

Expected hours: 10 – 25 per week
