Meat Trimmer

About the role

This is a full-time role based in Lidcombe, NSW, where you will be responsible for manually trimming meat to the highest quality standards. As a Meat Trimmer / Knife Hand at JBS Australia Pty Limited, you will play a key role in the processing and packaging of high-quality meat products.

What you'll be doing

• Carefully trimming meat using knives to remove fat, bones, connective tissue and other imperfections
• Ensuring all meat is trimmed to the precise size and shape requirements
• Adhering to all food safety and hygiene standards
• Maintaining a clean and organised workstation
• Contributing to the efficient processing and packaging of meat products

What we're looking for

• Previous experience as a meat trimmer or knife hand, ideally in a food processing or manufacturing environment
• Strong knife skills and the ability to work with precision
• Commitment to maintaining high food safety and hygiene standards
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced production environment
• Good hand-eye coordination and attention to detail
• Availability to work morning shift 4am - 12pm (Monday - Friday) with optional occassional Saturday overtime.
