Due to a sudden influx of projects we require an experienced documenter or architect on a short term contract.

The role is initially for a 3 month contract and could be on-going post 3 months dependent upon workload.

  • Small design studio in chippendale near central station precinct and the white rabbit gallery
  • Assist in design development & documenting houses, apartments and some commercial projects

Our projects vary but are primarily individual homes, alterations and additions, medium and high density residential and smaller commercial projects. We provide integrated design solutions to our clients, including:

  • Architecture
  • Interior Design and
  • Project Management

You will work in a creative space close to City buses, trains, cafes, shops etc.

Your role will be to assist the Director as required and includes:

  • The preparation of documentation for Concept Design, Design Development, Development Applications, Tender Documentation and Construction Drawings
  • Compiling of documentation
  • Consultant co-ordination
  • Lodging applications to the nsw planning portal

Skills & Experience you will need:

A documentation portfolio of premium homes, major alteration and additions, medium density residential and apartment buildings.

  • Proficient in AutoCAD and Revit
  • Preferable knowledge of Photoshop
  • Preferably a minimum of 3-5 years post-grad experience in residential projects.
  • Strong Construction Knowledge
  • Excellent written & spoken English
  • Organisational skills to help meet programme targets
  • Hourly rate offered is commensurate upon your skills and experience
