As we look to grow our maintenance division in 2026 and beyond, we have an exciting opportunity for a passionate horticulturist to join our team as a
Qualified Garden Maintenance Supervisor.
We are looking for someone who:
- Has prior experience in the same or a similar role with demonstrated knowledge in ALL areas of gardening (including plant knowledge)
- Experience in residential garden maintenance
- Is passionate about horticulture and has an eagerness to learn and develop their skills as well as lead and impart knowledge to other employees, especially apprentices
- Is a supportive team player who helps to foster a culture of collaboration to achieve the best outcomes for our clients' gardens
- Has a Certificate III in Horticulture or Parks and Gardens (or is close to completion)
- Has sound pest, disease and irrigation knowledge
- Has excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Maintains a high professional standard by taking an organised and efficient approach to tasks and responsibilities, and can problem-solve when required
- Third-year apprentices who want to develop into a leadership role are also encouraged to apply

What you can expect your days to look like:
- Complete general garden maintenance tasks such as mowing, weeding, mulching, hedging, irrigation repairs, pest and disease identification and control
- Take ownership of your own client list and the progression of the gardens you are working in
- Be a part of a positive team environment with a willingness to share your skills and knowledge with apprentices
- Our team works exclusively in the inner eastern suburbs of Melbourne (Canterbury, Camberwell, Kew, Hawthorn, Toorak, etc.)
