Full-Time Taxi Driver Wanted – Nanango Local Area
Are you a reliable, customer-focused driver with a passion for the road? We are seeking a full-time taxi driver to join our team, servicing the local Nanango area and surrounds. If you take pride in punctuality, professionalism, and safe driving, we would love to hear from you.
What We are Looking For:
Preference will be given to applicants with prior experience and relevant qualifications. The ideal candidate will demonstrate:
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Familiarity with 2-way radios, radio-telephones, mobile phones, and messaging services
- Confidence using taxi meters, EFTPOS, and manual TSS machines
- Punctuality and reliability
- Experience with GPS and/or in-board navigation systems
- Proven customer service experience
- Ability to resolve issues calmly and efficiently
- Financial management skills, including handling a daily cash float
- Excellent personal presentation and professional conduct
- Strong organisational and time management abilities
- Current driving licence and clean driving record
- Required driver qualifications or willingness to obtain (includes full medical)
- Commitment to ongoing training as needed
- Availability for evening and weekend shifts
- Accurate record-keeping skills
- High attention to safety when operating company vehicles
