Full-time | Melbourne (CBD) | EV & Premium Automotive Brands
Legal or compliance background highly regarded
Backed by Harmony Auto, we're building one of Australia's fastest-growing EV and premium automotive dealer networks across Australia and New Zealand. We combine sustainability, technology, and a customer-first approach — and now we're looking for passionate people to help us deliver that vision.
About the RoleWe're seeking a proactive Network Development Assistant to support our network growth projects — from new site assessments and dealer onboarding to compliance workflows and OEM partnership execution.
This role is perfect for a detail-oriented coordinator who enjoys turning strategy into action. Experience in automotive, franchising, property, or legal/compliance will be highly valued.
Key Responsibilities- Support network expansion projects: PMA analysis, market mapping, pipeline tracking, and opening timelines.
- Prepare and manage documentation, including NDAs, dealer applications, SOPs, and status reports.
- Coordinate with landlords, councils, contractors, and vendors on site due diligence, permits, and construction milestones.
- Assist with dealer agreements, lease documents, and compliance processes (collate inputs, version control, liaise with legal teams).
- Work with OEM partners on brand standards, signage, launch plans, and readiness checklists.
- Maintain dashboards on coverage, performance KPIs, and project status.
- Organise audits, inspections, and mystery-shop programs, and track remedial actions.
- Support new store launch activities: IT/CRM setup, stock allocation, training coordination, and opening logistics.
- Ensure compliance with WHS, privacy, franchising code, and other regulatory requirements.
- 1–3+ years' experience in project coordination, network development, real estate, franchising, or automotive.
- Strong organisational skills — confident managing multiple timelines, dependencies, and documents.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to prepare stakeholder updates and board-level reports.
- Competent with Excel (lookups, pivots), PowerPoint, and project tools (e.g. Monday, Asana, Smartsheet).
- Collaborative and proactive — able to follow through and deliver results.
- Highly regarded: Legal or compliance exposure (contracts, leases, franchising code) or a law degree/PLT in progress.
- Current driver's licence and willingness to travel for site visits when required.
- Shape the future of a national EV network during an exciting growth phase.
- Work closely with senior leaders, OEM partners, and industry experts.
- Clear career pathways into Network Development, Property, Legal, or Operations.
- Supportive and collaborative team culture with real ownership and impact.
