Purpose of Your Role
As a Production Worker, you will perform various production activities in a food processing environment while meeting quality standards and production deadlines.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure compliance with Workplace Health and Safety policies and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Participate in manufacturing processes, including equipment setup, operation, and shutdown, ensuring quality standards are met.
  • Apply quality controls during production to ensure products meet customer requirements.
  • Work within a team to achieve production goals and deadlines.
  • Identify and report potential hazards, incidents, or equipment problems promptly to Team Leader.
  • Participate in problem solving activities aimed at improving production processes and workplace practices.

Skills, Knowledge & Experience

  • Experience in working in a manufacturing environment particularly food processing.
  • Good problem-solving skills to identify production problems
  • Basic written and verbal communication skills
  • Willing to undergo training as required

Other Requirements

  • Possess a working with children's check & police check
  • Forklift licence is advantageous but not mandatory.
