Miwatj Health Aboriginal Corporation are seeking a Regional Clinical Educator to plan, coordinate, facilitate, evaluate and support Miwatj Health's clinical learning and clinical workforce development initiatives and activities for Nurses, Midwives and Aboriginal Health Practitioners including trainees. The role will deliver training in the context of rural and isolated practice.
This is a full time, permanent role based in Darwin or Nhulunbuy with regular travel to East Arnhem Region.

RN5 $141,119 – $147,041 per annum + 12% superannuation
- Ability to Salary Package up to $15,900 + additional $2,650 on Meals and Entertainment

About Miwatj Health Aboriginal Corporation
Miwatj Health is an independent Aboriginal Community-Controlled Health Service. Established in 1992, we're committed to providing quality services across East Arnhem Land and enabling Yolŋu powered community health and wellbeing. Miwatj provides culturally appropriate, comprehensive primary and public health for over 6,000 residents of this remote landscape. With a Head Office in Nhulunb uy, and a Corporate Office in Darwin, our delivery is focused on 7 health centres across East Arnhem Land and dedicated outreach teams who travel to additional locations.
What you need to be successful
The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong commitment to Aboriginal Community Control and self-determination, with a deep understanding of the challenges faced by Yolngu people in remote settings. Candidates should holds current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) with at least 5 years clinical experience. They should have experience as a Clinical Educator, educator and / or in the planning, coordination, facilitation and support of workforce learning and development initiatives, activities and strategies.
